It is with much sadness that I am writing this post. I found Chama in last November running along a highway. She was severely underweight and freezing from the cold. I couldn't leave her there so I took her home with me. She is an incredibly loving dog who needs to be with people or other compatible animals. I can no longer keep her as I will be traveling extensively, majority out of country. She needs lots of exercise and would love to find a home outside of the city. I'm sure she would love a job, like tracking or hunting, something I cannot provide for her.

He is about 16mos old and loves the outdoors. He gets along with our other 3 dogs, but our neighbors complaining about his baying. We live in Thornton. Looking for a loving home for him as he loves children and adults. He needs to be out in the country where he can bay to his heart content.

|Rescue Me ID: 17-08-08-00663Shylee (female)|
Shylee is a darling, 55 lb hound/mastiff mix that's approx 6-8 months old. She's super dog friendly, is outgoing with people, and good with kiddos! Shylee is currently fostered in Windsor. Her adoption fee is $350. She'd love an adoptive home! Please apply at www.bigbonescaninerescue.com.

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
