    I don't know how to describe this girl, except handsome! She's quite regal, as only a Hound can be. Cara weighs about 45 lbs. and is ready for someone to keep up with her energy level. She loves the outdoors, and needs a little exercise, which her current situation is not allowing her. She's quite sweet and nice!     Cowboy is a 4 - 5 year old that was rescued from a kill shelter. He loves to be outside when the weather is nice and has a carefree attitude. He is living in a foster home with other dogs and cats and is doing fine. He is working on house training as we don't think Cowboy has ever lived in a home. If you are looking for a low key fur kid Cowboy might be for you. He is fully vetted and microchiped.     Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Illinois if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
