Rescue Me ID: 16-11-22-00387Annie (female)

Bluetick Coonhound Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed

Annie is a very loving dog to adults and older kids. She loves to go for walks and swim. But can only be loose in a safe environment due to her strong sent drive. She has been an inside dog since I've had her at 10 weeks old. I now have a 1 and 2 year old who she is very uncomfortable around and will growl at them if they come close. Recently she nipped at the one year old who could not understand the warning of the growl. She is currently with another dog but doesn't take to new dogs or other animals very well and becomes very anxious. She works well with rewards and praise and strives to be loved. If you're looking for a dog who loves to ... (Read More)cuddle and be a large lap dog or to play with to get exercise she would be the perfect dog for you. (Less)

He is the biggest baby and not your typical hound, prefers to sleep most of the day and loves everyone, even great with kids! He just needs someone who's going to show him it's okay for new people to come into his territory and to teach him his boundaries. This loving and ...
