|Rescue Me ID: 15-04-25-00154Eli (male)|
Eli is a special young man who is crazy about squeaky toys and loves spending time with people. He is a bit of a flight risk, and he tends to wander at night, so I'd like him to go to owners who are patient and willing to put in some training hours with him. A fenced-n back yard wouldn't hurt. I would say he isn't good around other dogs and especially not smaller animals like cats or rodents. He's good with older children, but he does not like to be bothered when he is sleeping. He has all the potential of becoming a great friend, so if your thing is taking animals with a couple rough edges and loving them anyway, he's your guy.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-04-01-00220Cooper (male)|
Cooper is a very sweet boy caught in a bad situation. I thought he was in his forever home and 4 years later he is again looking for a forever home. Loves being outside gets along with other dogs but needs to be fed in his crate if there are other dogs. Other than that he is an awesome boy.

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
