|Rescue Me ID: 14-06-01-00450Sparky (female)|
We adopted Sparky when she was 6 months old with minimal experience on beagles, we live in town so we unfortunately do not have what is necessary for her. We are looking for a good family with a large fenced in yard. She is crate trained but needs to be able to run which is something she is unable to do at our home. She is great with other animals (but likes to chase the cat in order to play) and is good with other dogs. She does like to jump on people so she could probably use a little training we just have not had the time. She LOVES to cuddle and be loved on and if she could be left out at night she would crawl right under your blankets and sleep but most likely not all night so we do keep her in her cage at night and she does great but usually destroys any beds that are put in there for her. Thank you! (Less)

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
