|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-13-00237Olivia (female)|
Olivia was brought to us several months ago as a young pup. She and her sisters were very shy, so we kept them and put them in training. Olivia has done well with leash training and socialization. She is still a little shy, but will bloom in the home of her own special person. Is that you?

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
