Bluetick Coonhound    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed

Hi... my name is Tater. I'm a two year old Bluetick Coonhound. I'm just about the sweetest dog you could hope for. I'm very submissive, and seem to live to please people. I'm very friendly, and love attention. I like to give hugs, and will gladly wrap my arms around your waist to show that I love you. I will follow you anywhere, and just love to be close to people. I was a housepet before I came into the shelter, so I know all of my doggy manners... I am very polite, and walk well on a leash. I'm a true Southern Belle. Not only that, but I am current on all my vaccinations and am already spayed. I came into the shelter with my sister ... Rescue Me ID: 17-04-25-00491Jack (male)

Bluetick Coonhound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Jack. We rescued him from the Guilford County Animal Shelter a couple of months ago. We were told he's about 4 years old and looks like a Blue Tick. He gets along well with our other dog, a female lab the same age but doesn't like cats. He is very loyal to me and the kids (teenagers). However, he is very aggressive toward my husband. He has not bitten him but growls at him and will not be in same room with him unless he is in his crate. He is not this way towards all males. Jack can be skittish but has gotten much better. Will need to be crated when alone as he enjoys chewing EVERYTHING! He is a great dog and we would keep him if he ... (Read More)could get past his anxiety against My husband. We are looking for a good home for him. He has been fixed and is up to date on his shots. (Less)
