Woof Woof!! I'm Lewis, a super sweet 2 year old, 50 lb Blue Tick Coonhound/shepherd mix looking for a loving family. I may have a sad looking face (the hound in me) but I am anything but melancholy. In fact I am happy and peppy and bursting with love. I love spreading the joy to everyone I meet especially people, big and small and doggies too. I have fun playing and I have fun chilling; I'm a happy, go-with-the-flow kind of pup. How about you? My foster mom says I'm a smart boy too! I know some basic commands such as sit, stay and shake. It's fun learning and I get lots of treats and hugs when I learn something new. She says I'm a good boy too because I have good house manners and know where the potty is. So if you're looking for a kind, sweet, dog to be your forever buddy, come get me soon. I'm LEWIS. LEWIS is neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are LEWIS' hero! (Less)

Hi my name is Roscoe. I am approximately 6 months old. A little bit of my background is this- my original owners left me in a crate all day and night inside a garage and didn't feed me. When they decided to move and leave me behind a nice couple took me in. Unfortunately I am a little too much energy for them and they have too busy of a life style for me. I am an aggressive eater but my foster parents are currently working on this with me. Once the food is out of the equation I am full of love and life. I am extremely hyper and I love to run and be silly. I would love someone to possibly go on runs with. I definitely need to get my energy out. I would prefer to not be around cats- I'll probably chase them and it won't end up well. Also even though I live with 2 teenage boys I can be too strong so I would rather not be with small children. If I hurt them I would feel really awful. I currently live with a 5 yr old female dog and she lets me play with her. She's really passive. I can be a rough player but it's all just in fun. I deserve a loving home. Is someone willing to give that to me? (Less)

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
