Meet Ruby, a gem of a girl, extremely friendly, greets everyone with tail wagging and huge smile. Ruby's 2-3 year old, fully vetted, 60 pounds, mix of hound / shepherd, and has a cute stubby tail. Ruby's great with other dogs, loves to romp and play, would do best with FurSiblings her own size and fenced yard a bonus. Ruby enjoys her humans, loves to curl up close and keep you company, has good house manners and would make great family girl. Ruby's looking for a foster or forever home, she's currently in boarding and would LUV to stretch her legs. Please open your heart & home to this wonderful girl...she's truly a shiny gem!! |Rescue Me ID: 17-04-26-00336Mellie (female)|
Mellie is a 1-2 year old female cattle dog mix but she is 100% sweet. She weighs 36 pounds. This girl is a total love. She likes other dogs and all people. She loves to play with her foster sister and chew on bones. She does well walking and jogging on a leash but gets excited when we pass other dogs. She has a playful energy but will settle down nicely with a bone or toy. She spends the day in her crate while her foster parents are at work and will go in on her own for food. Since she likes to follow her nose, she should either be kept on a leash when outside or have a fenced in yard. Her favorite thing to do is spend time outside in the fenced in yard. She has not met any cats. She picked up on house training very quickly and goes to the same spot in the yard every time. She is easy going and will fit into most situations. She would love a dog sibling/playmate and would fit into a multi-dog household very well. She even likes the vet's office! Mellie is up to date on shots, spayed, and micro-chipped. (Less)

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
