|Rescue Me ID: 15-11-15-00108Boone (male)|
Boone is a very sweet dog but is very dominant with other dogs. He loves being outside and would make for a great hunting dog if trained properly. He's very stubborn. We want him to go to a new home because he's too much for us. We have a 1 year old little girl and a 4 year old German short hair. Boone is very dominant over our other dog especially with food. Our other dog is a big baby though. They must be separated when eating! He would be good in a household where he's the only dog, or with a dog who will put him in his place, and he needs plenty of space to run. He needs a home with someone who has the time and patience to train him. He's only ever been in the house, and he sleeps in bed with us. Please consider Boone. He really is a sweet boy, we just cant give him the lifestyle he needs. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-10-07-00551Brownie (male)|
When Brownie was surrendered to Tri-County Animal Rescue Center he stood quietly, gently wagging his tail, making fast friends with volunteers who were complete strangers to him. Brownie is the kind of dog you just want to throw your arms around and hug; he's a big brown dog with a gentle heart and handsome, caramel colored outlining in his face. Brownie is neutered and housebroken; at the shelter one of our volunteers has taken Brownie out on play dates with her own dog, who is a bit high strung and nervous, because Brownie has a calming effect on her dog and plays so nicely with him. Because those of us who know Brownie use the word 'sweet' so often to describe him, it's safe to say that whatever his breeding may be, Brownie is a special blend of 'sugar' and 'milk chocolate' more than anything else. If you love a dog with a big head and are looking for a gentle protector Brownie would be happy to meet you. To meet Brownie, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org (Less)

Bluetick Coonhound Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. Bluetick Coonhounds are friendly, intelligent dogs bred in the Southern United States. Blueticks are wonderful hunting dogs with a keen sense of smell. Bluetick Coonhounds normally make very good family pets, but can be difficult to train. Blueticks need a large fenced in yard. They will wander off easily to follow a scent if they are not kept on a leash. This hunting dog is not a good choice for households with small non-canine pets.
